A New Spot to Aim For: Bow & Arrow is Coming to East University!
If you’ve lived in Auburn for more than five minutes, you know that when the craving for brisket or those legendary cheesy corn grits hits, there is only one place to go. Bow & Arrow has become a local staple, blending that "Texas-style smoke" with "Alabama-soul" in a way that just makes sense.
But let’s be honest—as much as we love the original spot, it gets busy. We’ve all done the parking lot lap or seen the line out the door on a home game Saturday.
Well, Auburn, I have some news that’s going to make your next lunch break a whole lot easier. Bow & Arrow is officially opening a second location!
Where and When?
The new spot—affectionately being dubbed "Bow-U"—is taking over the former Wright Way BBQ building on East University Drive. It’s the perfect mid-town location for those of us who work or live on the other side of town and don't always have the time to trek across the city.
The Timeline: Renovations are currently in high gear. If everything stays on track (fingers crossed!), we are looking at a grand opening in late May or early June 2026. Just in time for those summer pool parties and backyard hangouts that desperately need a family-sized tray of pulled pork.
What’s the Vibe?
Expect the same open-kitchen, cafeteria-style service we know and love, but with a fresh footprint. The new location is expected to bring about 40+ new jobs to the area, so you’ll see plenty of friendly new faces along with the veteran pitmasters.
Whether you’re there for the sliced brisket, the smoked turkey, or you’re just there to shamelessly eat a bowl of cracklin' cornbread, you won’t have to wait much longer to get your fix on the East side of town.
Why We’re Excited
Auburn is growing fast, and it’s always a win when a local success story expands. Bow & Arrow isn't just a restaurant; it’s where we take out-of-town guests to prove that Alabama BBQ is elite. Seeing them double down on our community is the best kind of news.
Keep your eyes peeled on East University—the smoke should be rising from those new pits very soon!
